Orders and Contract

These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can use our website and place online orders . To register on the site and to place orders you must be aged 18 or over and a Japan resident. By accessing this website and ordering goods from Next online you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms.

Next reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time for future orders but the changes will not apply to any orders already placed. Your consumer rights are not affected.

Your order for goods is accepted and a contract is formed between you and Next at the point we despatch the goods . A contract is not formed at the point in time that payment has been taken from you by Next, nor at the point in time that you receive an email from Next acknowledging receipt of your order. Until the goods are despatched, Next may not accept the order.

Application and Account Details

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use nextdirect.com only with permission of a parent or guardian. Next reserves the right to refuse to supply any individual or company, to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in the event of a breach of these terms, suspected fraud, unauthorised account use, a high level or returns, unlawful conduct or other legitimate business reasons.

Personal Use Only & No Commercial VAT Invoices

The offers on our websites are directed exclusively to consumers who make purchases for purposes not related to commercial or professional activity. All orders placed online with us must be for private, non-commercial purposes. We reserve the right to refuse service or to refuse to enter a contract for online purchases with any company or corporate entity. We do not facilitate corporate, commercial, or self-employed transactions online and we do not issue commercial VAT invoices for corporate use. The confirmation email you receive serves as your standard consumer receipt.

Customs Fees

Please note that shipments to some destinations may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied by the importing country at the time the shipment arrives in your country. Next reserves the right to amend or change the free delivery offer at any time but this will not affect orders already placed.

Returns

International orders placed online cannot be returned to a Next Retail Store. You can return any unused items within 28 days of receipt for a full refund (provided the items are in a new and unused condition) via post using the returns label on the reverse of your delivery note. Postage must be paid by the sender and will not be refunded by Next. (This does not affect your consumer rights). All cosmetics, grooming products and certain jewellery can only be returned if found to be faulty. Where a product has a security seal, a refund or exchange will not be given if the seal is broken unless the item is faulty.

Delivery of in-stock items can take up to 28 days. You will be advised of the estimated delivery date at the time of order.

Our Sale events are really popular therefore in the interests of fairness, we will turn our Save Bag and Save for Later features off so that everyone gets a fair chance to purchase their items of choice.
