Sheer curtains offer lightweight daytime privacy. Blackout curtains feature a lining that blocks light for a better sleep, while Blackout/Thermal styles block light and help regulate your room's temperature year-round. How do I measure my windows to ensure I buy the right curtain size? First, measure the width of your pole or track (excluding finials). For the drop, measure from the top of the pole for eyelet, tab and slot top curtains, or from the track/ring eye for pencil pleat styles down to your desired length. What is the difference between eyelet, pencil pleat, and pinch pleat headings? Eyelet curtains feature modern metal rings for easy threading directly onto a pole. Pencil Pleat offers adjustable folds for tracks or poles using hooks, while classic Pinch Pleat has permanently sewn folds (available in Made to Measure only). Are curtains usually sold as single panels or pairs? The majority of our curtains are sold in pairs. The only exceptions to this are our dedicated Door Curtains and Voiles, which are sold as single panels. How should I wash and care for my curtains to prevent shrinking? To preserve quality, most of our curtains are dry clean only. For those suitable for home washing, we recommend that these are washed at medium temperature, (40°C ) and ironed on a medium setting once dry. What is your returns policy? You can return unused items in their original packaging within 28 days of delivery. Returns via post or courier cost £2.50, while returning items directly to our stores is completely free.
