My son is nearly 2 and the size 4 fit perfectly. It looks like they fully open with the Velcro fastening but under the strap it’s elastic and a bit of a squeeze to get on but once you get the hang of it they slip on easy enough and my son loved them. He’s not a fan of shoes without socks but he was happy in these. Walked on the sandy beach and by the pool and he’ll be in them quite a bit over the summer months as they’re good enough to walk around town in.
